There has been a lot violence from the Palestinian side towards the Israeli's, there have been wrongs from Israel as well, but they must both learn how Mandela brought change here in RSA, he was prepared to do what's right despite the wrongs experienced and see one people not black and white, If the Israeli's & Palestinians adopt this attitude, it will lead to a fair and honest deal, and a One state solution in Israel/Palestine with equal rights for everybody, which is the best, to avoid further land/water squables/fights in Israel/Palestine and making transportation to & fro easy well, there'll be compromise from both sides ito having completely Jewish states or Islamic states.
But by either holding onto to their current status quo approach is only going to make things worse. Israel's land grabbing policies from the Palestinian West bank and East Jerusalem is fueling extremism. Its also wrong for Palestinian Hamas to retaliate with rockets, which leads to Israeli rockets been sent back to Gaza, its wrong from both sides.
The 1967 war from both sides Jew and Arab was wrong(racial tensions between the two from all the blood that had been spilt at each others hands saw a Arab military build up close to the Israeli border from the Egyption side as well strong war rhetoric from the Egyption President,and because of racial resentment towards each other, Israel was not interested in dialogue which saw Israel throw the first punch), Israel was the victor, with Israel capturing the Palestinian west bank and East Jerusalem, but instead of then retreating back to approved borders after the war it occupied the land, which is wrong, it should do what is right regardless of the wrongs perpetrated by the Arabs, that's why under international law the jewish settlements are illegal, Two wrongs don't make a right, and since this war Israel has forcefully helped itself to land from the Palestinians and this is what is producing oppression/inequality and fuelling extremism which lead to 9/11, as Osama Ben laden publicly said his reason for 9/11 was because of American policy with Israel, which has now lead to the the war in Afganistan and making the world a very dangerous place for Jews and gentiles, the exact opposite of what Israel is suppose to achieve!!!
There's no excuse to build settlements on Occupied land, If Israel was reluctant to retreat back off the occupied land for security reasons, this is no way justifies building settlements there, which is the root cause for the conflict and tensions today. There's no excuse for a violent response from the Palestinians, the Palestinians must persue their cause with non violent resistance, the way Mandela post release from Jail brought change, with non violence. South Africa still has its problems, but we have at least taken a step in the right direction.
This conflict is now reaching a point where it can very quickly spiral into a World War as tensions with Iran rises, and the reason Iran has a problem with Israel, is because of Israels land grabbing from the Palestinians.
Israel has every right to exist, it's founded under international law, but within the 67 borders, the green line, by going across the green line it brings it's sovereignty into disrepute and is settig a very bad example to the world and dictators that are itching to take more land from weaker countries, like what Saddam Hussein tried to do in Kuwait in the early 90's.
We as South Africans(both Jewish, Islamic, Christian etc) need to raise our voices against this conflict and give these people our wisdom on how change was brought here in RSA. This conflict is effecting all of us, and draining economies, where money could be well spent on roads, schools, skills development centres for the poor its spent on rockets bombs and bullets and the problem remains unresolved.

With God returning the Jewish people to Israel/Palestine, the God we serve is a God who does things fairly and honestly who under the new covenant doesn't condone military warfare(see page on prayer and fasting), so in returning the actual biological descendents of Abraham(known to the world as Jewish people), to the land in Israel, will he not do it dealing fairly and honestly with the people inhabiting the land, buy stirring the Jewish people to buy the land from the Palestinians at the prices been asked, and if not for sale, to leave it alone and patiently wait until it is for sale, or must the Jewish people just forcefully take land in a unfair manner, definitely not the Jesus Christ of the New Covenant.
Israel was not created in an unfair manner. It's creation was voted on by the United Nations on 29 November, 1947, this was not unfair, although it was not the right solution, due too weak foreign leadership and weak Arab and Jewish leadership, the Arab leaders at the time were unable to bring about a Democratic One State solution which with strong leadership would've seen them learn to live in peace and harmony as one people. Instead a partition was formed known as the 1967 lines, one side for the Arabs and one side for the Jewish people who were coming to live in the land (of their ancestors driven out in about 587BC as part of God's judgement for their backslidden state and their idolatry) in large numbers after world war II, which saw a clash in culture and religion but also Jewish settlers saw the land for the golden oppotunity it was and starting land grabbing causing major problems with the Arabs living their, opening a door for a prolonged bloody conflict.
If i had 5 kids, and they could'nt stand each other, i would make them come before me and explain their differences and who's ever in the wrong will be disciplined and forced to apologise and stop their provacations and learn to live in the same home together which will build character and make us stronger as a family, and i will not waist my money to build a cottage for my one son to live on the outskirts because he refuses to sort things out with his brother
But instead what happened in 1948 to this day, the leaders have been too weak to force the family to be tolerant toward each other and respect each other and have instead split up with one building their own home on one side and the other on the other side and the differences remain unresolved leading to a bitter unhappy family with a lot of pain and bagage with provacations from both sides leading to many deaths.
Wealthy Jewish people used a lot of money to buy land from the Arabs, which was the right way to expand territory and this is the way God intended to bring the Jewish people back to Israel, not with partitions and wars, but with normal arms length transactions at market related prices. re buying land to settle and live on.

Real security/protection is having the protection of God and wearing the breastplate of righteousness and wearing this armour would require you to conduct yourself in a fair and honest manner among other things(see page on how God's protection works) , with Israel expanding its borders in a unfair manner it is breeding war and violence world wide, and when this state is suppose to offer a safe haven for Jews worldwide its the very thing causing insecurity for the Jewish people & war and violence world wide. Your security only comes by keeping your soul/conscience clean, what’s the point in having a jewish state if you have to sell your soul to have it, all for security, when you've lost the most important thing in the process, a clear conscience.
Israel’s land grabbing from the Palestinian people is creating oppression and inequality which is breeding violent extremism, this is why Osama Ben Laden and Taliban and Al-Queda have a problem with Israel, and the Taliban and Al-queda have a problem with America because of America's bias policy with Israel (America to date only provides lip service, but in deed/trade is bias toward Israel at the expense of the Palestinian people), which is what lead to 9/11 and now the war in Afghanistan.
its an ideology that fuels extremism, wants you remove the drive, it
suffocates the ideology and withers away, right now Israel is fuelling it by their
policies discussed above that makes it grow, once you take the drive out of what’s
growing them, they wither away, it was the same here in South Africa, we had
right wing extremists both black and white, neither trusted the other, neither
wanted peace, but once there was equality and fairness for everybody, they could
no longer preach their gospel of how they are been oppressed to grow their
movement, people are inclined to get on board when their is oppression or
inequality and can be mislead into violent extremism, once the root cause
fuelling it is removed, it withers away.
As Ghandi layed his life down to resist occupation through non violent ways
including fasting,(although Ghandi was unsaved, he understood the power of these
principles)and as Nelson Mandela (who had the strength and wisdom to see one
people and not two people i.e wanted equality for both blacks and whites)post
release from Jail used non violent ways to bring equality and fairness(pre jail, he
decided to use violence and landed up in jail and the movement was slowed down,
post release, when deciding the way forward was going to be through non violence, the
movement's momentum grew fast and was successful). Nelson Mandela was
determined to do what is right, despite the wrongs that were done to him, he
didn't want go from inequality to black people to inequality to white people, he
wanted what is right, fair and equittable for everyboby, he wanted equality for
everybody in South Africa, despite what the whites had done to the blacks, he
understood "TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT".
The Lord calls us to be prepared to suffer wrongfully & sacrifice our lives to even
see our enemies saved or bring equality and fairness, we are not to sacrifice our
lives to kill our enemies.
In order to bring peace in this world you must be prepared to loose everything to
do what is right, otherwise fear will dominate you, one must be unbiased and
view the situation in an objective manner and do what is right regardless of the
actions the people who you are fighting with are taking. White South Africa in
1994 had to embrace the Black South Africa, despite their fears that an "Inferior
people" would run the country into the ground,(whites had a racist mindset and
thought the blacks would run the country into the ground), White South Africa was
pushed into doing the right thing with Sanctions as well as with the leadership of
Mandela, and Democracy came into been in 1994, and 16 years later South Africa
is a better place for it and has not been run into the ground,(we still have problems,
but we've taken a step in the right direction).
In line with the above principles, we also need to pressurize Israel & Palestine(Hamas in Gaza)
with Sanctions to push them to do the right thing and overcome their negative thinking
of each other and embrace each other in the form
of a democratic One state Solution to make things fair and equitable for everybody.

Its money and greed driving Israelis land grabbing policies and its lack of money/sanctions that will make Israel reconsider
its land grabbing policies!!!! Not violence and military action, they pride themselves in their Defence Force.
And the settlemnt activity receives huge funding from Jewish owned American casino's, and the irony of this is that
there's a lot of orthodox Jewish people living in the settlement bloc which are illegal under international law.
Israel's most venerable point is its economy, and spends a significant portion of
its
economy on defense, which feeds into less money for subsidizing
education
and skills development at tertiary levels, there are many youth not
getting educated/skilled post school due to finances in Israel, Israel
needs to sort things out with the Palestinians and soon!!! Please
raise
this point, will make the people of Israel think twice about the
benefits
of sorting things out with the Palestinians.
I know sanctions will hurt both sides, but these are the things we
need to
be prepared to go through to bring change in this world.
A one state solution is the best long term option, two states will
only
create more walls and make working conditions (ito
transportation)worse
getting between the two borders and no doubt there'll be more land
squabbles and fights, a one state solution sorts this all out. There
will
be compromise no doubt, but its the best solution going forward.
Abraham had two wives, Sarah gave birth to Isaac(Jewish people) and Hagar gave birth to Ishmael(Arab people), because of tension between the two wives, there was a split in the family, and Hagar along with Ishmael parted separate ways from Abraham (Genesis
Abbas is the right leader to bring about a Democratic one State solution, he is a man of
diplomacy who believes in non violence, his values have already made far inroads.
Abbas presents Israeli’s and Palestinians with a very rear opportunity to sort things
out and should be seized.
Of course South Africa is not the remedy for Israel, its too hard, & dangerous same
analogy to the 10 of 12 spies that came back from spying the promised land/
Canaan, two spies had faith in God they could do it, and God blessed them and
kept them to enter and take the land, the 10 spies that doubted because it was
impossible to them, God cursed them and they perished with all the others
wandering in the desert till their death for their lack of faith and the new
generation came and took the the land with the two original spies that God kept.
Mandela was a Caleb and a Joshua, are you going to lead your people,
God is asking that of you !!! Be a leader, real one, or be one of
the ten spies that only came up with excuses as to why we can't sort the
problem out.

yes, there was some nasty bumps initially after the change in RSA, but as years
went on we grew as a nation, and the right wingers are still here, but the
venom in their fire has been quenched with equality and fairness for everybody in RSA
and they are actually now integrating and functioning in a multi racial society.
and yes, we still have problems, but we are a lot better off and moving forward.
It's wrong for both the Israeli's and the Palestinians to use violence/military
action against each other and its wrong for the rest of the world to use military
action to kill each other, doesn't solve the root causes of the problems.

Gaza is a Hamas lead portion of Palestine.(Sanctions should not be to the extent that it causes people and children to
starve, there are many ways to impose sanctions without it causing starvation).
Don’t buy Israeli products or products from Gaza, until both denounce violence and make a One State Solution(or a deal
apon which both agree), yes this will be hard on them, but its necessary.
The compromise of bringing about a One state Solution is the sacrifice of having a
completely Jewish State and national home for Jews worldwide,
but these are the sacrifices necessary to bring equality and real security, having
a Jewish state that creates inequality for the Palestinian
people is not the way to create a safe haven and a national home for the Jewish people,
then rather have no home at all, like the Palestinian refugees exiled in 1948 because of the 1948 civil war and because of attacks from Jewish Zionist extremists, making it too dangerous to stay in Israel any longer!! which is a
issue that must also be brokered into the One State Solution in terms of economic growth and a skills development programme,
before worrying about making a home for Jews in Israel/Palestine that have never lived in
Israel/Palestine.
re 1948, weak leadership saw the 2 kill each other, so more week foreign leadrship wanted a partition, which brought about the war as the Arabs rejected it with the Arabs throwing the first punch of this war, then Arab leaders
realised what a botch it was and that the war was going nowhere, then wanted to do away with the partition and make a democratic one state, but never materialised and more racial tensions ensued etc but to this day, the only
solution remains a Democratic One State solution allowing for the Palestinian refugees who fled this conflict the rightful return to their homes.
You do what you can, but if you have to compromise on honesty, justice and equality, then that's
where you draw the line.
If one's happiness comes at someone else's expense, this is just selfish, self centered happiness
that will not have God's blessing and also will not go unpunished by the Almighty!!
